Who We Are:
Joyful Resistance South Florida is a community of ordinary people who refuse to give up on each other or on our democracy. We’re students, parents, grandparents, teachers, veterans, artists, caregivers, and neighbors from every walk of life — people who believe that justice, compassion, and collective courage still matter. We show up where we can, when we can, because we know that small acts of resistance add up when we do them together. While we push back against harmful policies at the state and federal level, we’re equally committed to doing good right here in our local communities — supporting one another, showing up for those in need, and building the kind of Florida we want to live in.
